The new briklok™ system from RJ Facades, introduces a strength of backing support wall, new to ventilated facades.

The new patent pending briklok™ system is a unique interlocking design that creates a solid aluminium inner cavity, supporting simple, tested cavity barrier installation. The briklok design creates the possibilities of the off-site fabrication of columns, and corner returns creating improved, reduced site time of the installation of complicated architectural detailing.

Suitable as a lightweight and cost effective option compared to the traditional brick build-up.

briklok uses primarily a natural clay brick range to create the look and feel of a heritage timeless brick building.

briklok brickslips are made from a real clay brick, providing the timeless aesthetic appeal of brick in highrise applications and offers architects and developers almost limitless options when it comes to design and finish. The Ibstock bricks have been tested with the Briklok in CWCT sequence B, with UKAS accreditation by UL, NHBC approved method of certification. Briklok system works with all real clay bricks that meet the systems specification.

The system primarily uses EVTII helping hand brackets & 60x50x2mm L profile with a combination of vertical T & L profiles, vertical centres to be calculated by RJ facades technical department.

  • Technical Characteristics
  • Typical bracket configuration uses the Fixed Point bracket at the highest position on the vertical rail to support the façade vertical dead loads. The Sliding Point bracket is used typically on all other positions on the vertical rail to absorb the project wind loading

    The system benefits from using a standard helping hand system, which is interchangeable with other RJ Facades helping hand systems based on the project requirements.

    RJ Facades offer one of the UK's largest range of Helping Hand brackets which have been designed to help achieve the the required U-Value while helping to support the facade system going back to the backing wall.
