Paraflam® cavity barrier is a perimeter fire stop designed for external rainscreen facades.
Manufactured as a non-combustible stone wool based product with a foil facing which prevents fibre migration and provides an excellent seal.
It is designed to reinstate the fire resistance of a compartment, as well as offering good thermal and acoustic performance
Typically used a vertical cavity barrier at corner junctions, wall partitions and around window openings, it is installed as a full fill barrier using compression.
The Paraflam comes in 1200mm x 1000mm slabs and is available in thicknesses of 75mm, 100mm & 125mm.
Fire resistances of EI30, EI60 & EI120 available, tested up to a cavity size of 590mm
A1 rated to EN 13501-1:2018 Fire Classification.
Fire resistance up EI120 when tested to EN 13501-2
EN ISO 10140-2:2010 Acoustic Rating up to 34dB
EN1366-4 fire resistance test for service installations.
